I have been writing since I was very young. When I was a teenager, essays and poetry helped me to win my first overseas trip via a newspaper competition.

I'm a technical writer and manufacturing consultant by profession.  I'm based in UK, but have spent much of the past 20 years working overseas.  I write textbooks and management reports on the global pharmaceutical industry.  I am also editor of a technical journal.

I returned to creative writing in 2006, taking an Open University course to improve my skills.  As you will see from my work, I have a grasshopper approach to writing (as to the rest of my life).  I write articles for content websites and on commission; I write short stories and poetry for competitions; I am currently writing a novel on Russia, based on my travel experiences.
